Intern Spotlight - Julie Plunkette
We are delighted to introduce you to Intern Julie Plunkette.
Degree: Bachelor of Social Work
School: Murray State University
What I Do: At One Place, I shadow our Victim Service Officers during client interviews, attend PFA Court, help with special projects and administrative tasks, and more.
Why One Place?: I chose One Place for my internship site because I admire the combined effort of the agencies in our building to more easily provide services to members of our community who have experienced violence or abuse. I have always had a heart for working with the client groups that One Place works with, and my work here has even combined that with my interest in policy and the judicial system. It's an amazing place to be!
Fun Fact: In my free time, I like to quilt, paint, embroider, read, and spend time in nature.
