Community Partners Make a Difference

Thanks to the Lauderdale County DHR Adult Protective Services Unit! The unit sponsored a t-shirt fundraiser for One Place of the Shoals. District Attorney Chris Connolly, President of One Place Board of Directors, accepted a check for One Place from Terra Smith, who is a member of the Adult Protective Services Unit. This unit does an outstanding job investigating cases involving elder abuse and elder exploitation. We are grateful for their efforts to protect elders in our community and for their support of One Place.
